It is with tremendous joy that I write to let you know that I have been called as a State Missionary by the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. Serving under the leadership of Daniel Edmonds in the Office of Sunday School and Discipleship, my new role will be Lead Strategist for Groups.

This role is perfect for fulfilling my life call to “equip and encourage people on their journey toward Christlikeness”. It is grounded in the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. It elevates my life passage, Ephesians 4:11-13, “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ until we all attain the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God”. It maximizes my gifts, talents, skills and my love for disciple making through groups as well as one-on-one.

Melinda and I want to sincerely thank you for your encouragement and prayerful support over these past few months.

Know that I am beyond excited to reconnect with everyone soon to hear how God is using you and your church family to make disciples with Jesus.
