State Missionary Steve Layton was called to serve at the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions in February 2021. He currently serves as an associate in the Office of Sunday School and Discipleship as the Lead Strategist for Groups.
Steve and his wife, Melinda, are members of Lakeside Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL. They have five adult children and three grandchildren.
